Description
After the migration of Yahoo! Photos users to Flickr, the community was inundated with users much more novice than the core set of Flickr users. One of the main problems that these new users experienced was understanding how to manually share their photos with friends and family. The goal of this project was to create a clear path for these users to share their photos, without degrading Flickr’s pristine user experience.

My Role
As the lead designer on this project, I came up with several solutions that were demonstrated using static mocks as well as Flash prototypes. Once a direction was finalized, I also determined the different use cases for the button based on each user’s privacy settings and the type of content being shared.
